Kinnaur Kailash Yatra
Tour Highlights:
The Kinnaur Kailash, located in Himachal Pradesh’s Kinnaur district, rises impressively to an altitude of 4600 meters. It carries deep religious significance for both the Hindu and Buddhist communities of Kinnaur. FAQ
Are Kinnaur Kailash and Kailash Mansarovar identical or distinct destinations?
What is Kinnaur Kailash actually?
What does AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) entail?
AMS, or Acute Mountain Sickness, occurs due to sudden exposure to reduced air pressure and lower oxygen levels at high altitudes. Common symptoms include headaches, fatigue, nausea, loss of appetite, insomnia, and heavy breathing. Descending to lower altitudes and inhaling oxygen can help alleviate symptoms more quickly. This is why we recommend spending at least two days in Leh to allow for acclimatization.
