Where is the Darma Valley?
Darma Valley is a pristine and lesser-explored region nestled in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand, India. Surrounded by towering peaks, lush green meadows, and glistening rivers, this valley is a well-kept secret that offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Darma valley is one of the beautiful valley in the Himalayas.

Latitude : Approximately between 30.2° N and 30.5° N
Longitude : Around 80.5° E to 81.2° E
Tour Highlights:
The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated, against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva. According to legend, the Pandavas after having won over the Kaurava in the Kurukshetra war, felt guilty of having killed their own brothers and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for redemption. He eluded them repeatedly and while fleeing took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. On being followed he dived into the ground, leaving his hump on the surface.
YOUR ITINERARY (DAY WISE)
Day 1 - Kathgodam - Pithoragarh (7 hours Drive)
Day 2 - Pithoragarh – Darma Valley (8 hours Drive)
Day 3 - Panchachulli base camp trek - (7kms trek)
Day 4 - Darma Valley to Dharchula (5hrs drive)
Day 5 - Dharchula - Tanakpur (290 kilometres/ 8 hours)
Day 6 - Tanakpur – Kathgodam/ Panthnagar drop.
