Mount Kailash, regarded as the divine abode of Lord Shiva, serves as a spiritual symbol, imparting profound spiritual teachings to pilgrims. Situated in the Kailash Range, within the Transhimalaya region, it carries immense religious importance. Similarly, Lake Manasarovar, revered as Tibet’s most sacred lake, enchants with its distinction as the world’s highest freshwater body at 4,590 meters above sea level. YOUR ITINERARY (DAY WISE)

DAY 01: ARRIVE LUCKNOW & TRANSFER TO NEPALGUNJ
Upon arrival in Lucknow, proceed with a drive to Nepalgunj. Enjoy an overnight stay at Hotel Siddhartha, Sneha, Cygnett, or a similar accommodation option.
DAY 02: FLY TO SIMIKOT /HILSA & DRIVE TO TAKLAKOT
Early in the morning, transfer to the airport for a flight to Simikot (2,910 meters). Complete immigration procedures and then take a flight to Hilsa (3,704 meters, a 15-minute flight). Upon arrival in Hilsa, complete the immigration formalities on the Nepalese side. You will be introduced to your Chinese guide and drivers before entering the Chinese Immigration office area. After completing immigration procedures, proceed to Taklakot (30 kilometers, 4,025 meters, a 1-hour drive). Overnight stay at a hotel in Taklakot.
DAY 03: FULL DAY ACCLAMATIZATION AT TAKLAKOT
Today is designated for acclimatization, allowing you to adjust to the altitude. Enjoy freshly prepared meals throughout the day. Spend the night at the hotel in Taklakot.
DAY 04: DRIVE TO MANSAROVAR & MANSAROVAR PARIKRAMA
After breakfast this morning, we will embark on a visit to Nabi, a captivating village reminiscent of the mysterious Pandora from “Avatar”. The journey unfolds like a fairy tale adventure, offering breathtaking views of cliff-hanging mountains, rushing rivers, and snow-capped Himalayan peaks, evoking a sense of entering Shiva’s territory. Along the way, we will explore picturesque villages such as Malpa (with its poignant history), Budhi (where adventure and pilgrimage converge), Chialekh (a paradise where the Army checks inner line permits), Garbyang (offering sea buckthorn vinegar), and Gunji (providing a glimpse of the route towards Om Parvat and the old Kailash Mansarovar route). Nabi Village serves as the base camp for Adi Kailash, allowing you to immerse yourself in the authentic Himalayan culture. Enjoy an overnight stay at a homestay in Nabi Village, where you’ll be treated to delectable meals.
Drive to Mansarovar (4,590 M, 120 KM – 2 hrs). Perform puja, hawan and Devtarpan (self) followed by MansarovarParikrama. Overnight stay at guesthouse.
After breakfast, we will drive to Darchen (4,690 meters), a journey spanning 150 kilometers and taking approximately 3 hours, via Mansarovar Lake and Rakshas Lake. Upon arrival in Darchen, check into the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 06: DRIVE TO YAMADWAR & HOLY TREK TO DIRAPUK,
Carrying packed lunch boxes, we will drive to Tarboch Flag Pole, the initial prostration point, serving as an auspicious gateway and the sky burial ground. We will then visit Yamadwar (4,690 meters) before continuing our drive to Sershong (approximately 8 kilometers from Darchen). Upon reaching Sershong, you will meet your porters, pony caretakers, etc., and begin the trek to Dirapuk (4,765 meters), covering a distance of 10 kilometers with a trek duration of 3 to 4 hours. Overnight accommodation will be arranged at a guesthouse in Dirapuk.
DAY 07: HOLY TREK TO ZUTHULPUK,
We will continue the Parikrama by traversing over Dorma La Pass (5,610 meters) en route to Zuthulpuk (4,700 meters), covering a distance of 22 kilometers with a trekking duration of 7 to 8 hours. Overnight accommodation will be provided at a guesthouse in Zuthulpuk.
DAY 08: HOLY TREK TONEAR DARCHEN& DRIVE TO MANSAROVAR
On the last and final day of the Mt. Kailash Parikrama, we will conclude near Darchen (4,664 meters) after a trek of 14 kilometers lasting 3 to 4 hours. From there, we will drive to Mansarovar (30 kilometers, approximately 1 hour). Upon arrival at the Holy Mansarovar Lake (4,556 meters), we will check into the guesthouse for an overnight stay.
DAY 09: DRIVE TO HILSA, FLY TO NEPALGUNJ VIA SIMIKOT &TRANSFER TO HOTEL
We will drive to Hilsa and then walk to the Hilsa helipad to board a chartered helicopter flight to Simikot. After completing immigration procedures at Simikot, we will continue our journey to Nepalgunj via a scheduled flight. Upon arrival in Nepalgunj, we will be transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 10: FINAL DEPARTURE
After breakfast, we will proceed to Lucknow airport for our onward journey flight.
